Thank You For Your Support

The Glenshaw Century Club Luncheon and Fashion Show was a resounding success because of your support. Thank you to the companies and people who donated; To those who attended; To those who spent time creating the event; To those who participated during the event. We could not have done it without you.

The photo above shows Betty Nesbit and Fran Kraus, two long time, hard-working members celebrating the day.

Kane Hospital

Glenshaw Century Club sponsors The Banjo Club at Kane hospital twice a year. Our next visits will be May 6, 2014 at 1:30 pm. Kane is always in need of Bingo prizes such as body washes, Kleenex, costume jewelry, sugar free cookies and candy, notepaper, and new stuffed animals and dolls.

Care Bears

Glenshaw Century Club Ladies made over 1600 Care Bears this past year that were given to local hospitals, emergency rooms, ambulance services and police stations. They are given to children who are ill or a child of an ill parent. We will be making more Care Bears April 28. 2014 at Denise Duve's home. All are welcome to help cut, sew, trim, turn, stuff, and finish our bears. Sewing experience is not required.

Flower Power

Members are creating lovely floral arrangements for hospital patients. Flowers are donated by "Z Florists" and "Always in Bloom" florist. Ribbons and vases are donated by members. 15 to 20 arrangements are created each month.

And the work continues . . . .
